A

Auto Spin

Once the player has set the Total bet, they can then select manually select Spin to play a round of the slot machine OR select Auto Spin to play 10 or more rounds of the game without having to manually spin the machine each time. Most games usually give the player different option, for example, you can select 10, 15, 20 or 30 rounds of Auto Spin but if you change your mind half way then you can pause the game and resume to playing it manually.

B

Balance

The amount of cash in your account after the spin is called the Balance. It is calculated by adding the winning amount (if you have won any after each spin) and deducting the Total Bet amount.

Sometimes players get confused that even if they have won, for example, 10 coins after a spin their balance only goes up by 3 coins. This is because, they forget that they have to pay 7 coins to play the bet in the first place.

New Balance = Recent Balance (Before the Spin) + Winning Amount - Total Bet

Bet per Line

Bet per line or coins per bet is the amount of coins a player decides to bet on the activated paylines in a multiple payline slot machines. The player has an option to activate all the paylines by selecting the ‘Max bet’ option to increase the chances of winning a bigger cash amount but with possibly a higher risk.

See below to understand the relationship between coin size, bet per line, number of paylines and the total bet.

Coin size x Bet per Line / Coins per Bet x Number of Lines = Total Bet

Bonus Feature

Bonus features vary from slot to slot. They can be anything from Free Spin, Wild cards, a particular combination of symbols and so on. Read the Game Info before playing to find out what the bonus features of a particular game are.

C

Coin Size

Coin size is the size of a single bet which can be increased or decreased depending on the player’s budget. Increasing the coin size increases the amount of cash one is likely to win.

To summarise,

Coin size x Bet per Line / Coins per Bet x Number of Lines = Total Bet

J

Quite obviously, a Jackpot is the highest amount you can win in a slot machine game.

P

Pay Table

Each machine has a table that lists the number of credits the player will receive if the symbols listed on the pay table line up on the pay line of the machine. Some symbols are wild and will pay if they are visible in any position, even if they are not on the pay line. Especially on older machines, the pay table is listed on the face of the machine, usually above and below the area containing the wheels. Most video machines display the pay table when the player presses a "pay table" button or touches "pay table" on the screen; some have the pay table listed on the cabinet as well.

Payline

Payline is the line at which winning combinations on the slot reel must land in order to win the payout amount. In short, Payline is that line that wins you money after you spin the reel.

Example

As the name suggests, symbols are illustrations in the slot machine reels. They could be anything depending on the theme of the game. Traditionally, these are cherries, dollar signs, fruits, money bags and so on but these days just like everything else, Slot Machines have also upgraded, therefore, there are a variety of symbols available today.

T

Total Bet

Total bet is the total number of credits played at one time. This is a product of coin size, bet per line and the number of lines a player chooses to play in each spin. See the formula below.

Coin size x Bet per Line / Coins per Bet x Number of Lines = Total Bet
