The Five Pirates is a slot machine from the Lightning Box Games production. I start by asking you to check the rating of this game down below in the table. You see, there are only 3 stars out of 10. The reason for the poor rating is the childish and old fashioned design - but in the bad way. There are many great old fashioned slot machines with great design and superb rating. A great example is the Jackpot 6000, which is a classic slot machine game very popular especially in Norway. But now back to the Five Pirates slot machine. From my point of view, the people from Lightning Box Games did NOT put too much effort into producing this game. A graphics like this can be done in 2 hours. The animations are too simple and card symbols is another reason to take some points off. The accompanied music and additional sound effects are very annoying and I had to play without any sounds. And the fun factor? During 10 minutes of playing I could't discover more than a "Wild feature" which was nothing to be impressed of. Maybe I should change my domain from Spincastle to "Hater" but simply most of the slot machines produced in 2017 are not worth playing.
