I believe it was the company Novomatic, who first came with an online version of the Book of Ra. For some reason I don't understand and probably never will, was this game a huge success - especially in countries of the Central Europe. This used to be a video slot which could be found in any pub or a land based casino.
In the meantime there is no more any online casino known to me having Book of Ra in their portfolio. Instead, you can find many different "Ra's" and "Books" - (For example Book of the Dead slot), trying to get a piece of the cake. The design, game features and the overall feeling is usually similar like Book of Ra.
The Blaze of Ra video slot is not an exception. The developers of Push Gaming brought a decent product with a nice graphics and animations. However, the original idea is "taken" and this is a thing I do not appreciate. If you are not bothered by this fact, you might however like it. Please let me know.
Obviously some of you see it differently. To be fair, here is a message we received from Andrew:
Just reading your comment on the Blaze of Ra slot. Because the game uses Ra as a theme it's a copy? Themes in games will always come up again and again... The Blaze of Ra actually refers to the Symbol on Ra's head not Ra himself and the mechanics are totally different to any Egyptian or Ra based game out there... So I think your critic of the game is way off.
The game will be loaded below. Please, be patient as loading this game could take a few seconds. If you experience any problems you can reload the game.
