Music is the key element that makes you interested into the Final Countdown slot from the very first second. The drama in it really sparks the attention within. It is clear that the final countdown is supposed to be connected to the rocket waiting on the left side of the game area.
As the game goes on, it will become more and more clear that the rocket will actually never go off. With the disappointment coming from this knowledge, The Final Countdown slot becomes less attractive. I was spinning the reels like crazy for about 10 minutes and finally gave up. During the whole period I did not manage to hit ANY extra feature and the game became boring to me.
